Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, has become the first to send troops to Gaza to enforce the disarmament of Hamas—an undertaking no other country has been willing to carry out besides the IDF.

Indonesia has confirmed its intention to send up to 8,000 troops to Gaza as part of a proposed international force.

Following reports about preparations to receive thousands of Indonesian soldiers in the Strip, officials in Jakarta say their military is “ready to assist in maintaining peace.”
