In a joint operation of the IDF and Shin Bet led by the Southern Command, the terrorist Musab Salim Musab Daiya, who served as the head of the terror organization Katibat Al-Mujahideen in the Gaza Strip, was eliminated last week in the Nuseirat area.

As part of his role as head of the terror organization, he was involved in recruiting terrorists in Judea and Samaria and within Israel, through whom he promoted and carried out attacks and terror acts. During the war, the terror organization under his leadership was involved in promoting attacks in Israeli territory and against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip.

The terrorist Musab Salim Musab Daiya was appointed to the role of head of the terror organization after the three previous heads of the organization were eliminated in IDF strikes in recent months. His elimination constitutes a blow to the direction of terror from the Gaza Strip to the areas of Judea and Samaria and within Israel.

Terrorists of the terror organization Katibat Al-Mujahideen, who played a significant role in the massacre on October 7, were partners in acts of kidnapping and murder without knowing the plans of the terror organization Hamas, but as an implementation and exploitation of Hamas's terror plots in the territory of the state.

The IDF and Shin Bet will continue to act forcefully against terror organizations in the Strip and to remove any threat to the citizens of the State of Israel.
