Summary of IDF Spokesman Gaza City Update

IDF spokesperson: "I am aware of the concerns of the hostages' families; we will do our very best to avoid harming your loved ones."

• Three divisions are currently operating in Gaza City: Division 98, Division 162, and in the coming days Division 36 will join the maneuver.

• Division 99 is operating in a defensive role in the northern Gaza area, and Division 143, the Gaza Division, is operating in the southern Gaza Strip and the security zone.

• We hold large parts of Gaza City. This follows intense IDF operations in recent weeks in the Zaytoun, Sheikh Radwan and Jabalia neighborhoods. Those operations created the operational conditions to deepen the fighting inside Gaza City.
