Israeli security forces carried out a week-long operation in Hebron aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure and strengthening security in the area.
Israeli security forces, including IDF, the Shin Bet, Border Police, and Judea and Samaria District Police, operating under the command of the Judea Brigade, completed a large-scale brigade-level operation on Thursday in the Jabal Johar neighborhood of Hebron. The operation began earlier this week and focused on dismantling terrorist infrastructure, combating the illegal possession of weapons, and reinforcing security in the area.
During the operation, security forces sealed off the neighborhood, searched approximately 350 buildings, and arrested 14 wanted terrorists involved in terrorist activity and the possession of illegal weapons. Forces also seized eight firearms, including M16 and M4 rifles, pistols, as well as dozens of knives and additional weapons.
