During the discussions that took place in preparation for the possibility that Israel would be put on the black list, the various parties, including the Israeli ambassador to the UN, recommended that Israel take the following steps:

1. Closing the UN complex in the Armon HaNtziv in Jerusalem.

2. Severing all contact with the Secretary-General's envoy for the "peace" process, Tor Wennesland, and failure to approve a visa for his replacement, who is expected to be appointed in a few months.

3. Not granting new visas for entry to Israel or activity in the region and in the U.N. for UN officials and heads of agencies. Mainly OCHA and the World Health Organization.

The United Nations time has passed. They belong in the history book like the League of Nations. The United Nations no longer lives up to it's charter.
