The terror group Hamas has issued official mourning notices confirming the elimination of three operatives from its so-called military wing, all of whom it claims took part in the October 7 infiltration into Israel.
According to Hamas statements, the eliminated terrorists were:
- Ibrahim Mahmoud Abu Bakra – Company commander, Hittin Battalion (Deir al-Balah). Eliminated on November 17, 2023.
- Mohammed Salem Suleiman al-Khashash – Company commander, Abu Kharb Battalion (Shaboura–Rafah). Eliminated on May 23, 2024.
- Asem Nabil Abd al-Rahman Abu Shamala – Company commander, Hudhayfa bin al-Yaman Battalion (western Khan Younis). Eliminated on January 21, 2024.
Hamas claims all three were directly involved in the October 7 cross-border attack, during which terrorists infiltrated Israeli communities and military positions, murdering civilians and soldiers.
