The IDF struck two days ago in the Khan Younis area and eliminated Ihab Khreizim, head of a central infrastructure for transferring funds of the terror organization Hamas.
As part of his role, Khreizim was responsible for managing transfers of funds worth millions of dollars to the military wing of the terror organization Hamas. In recent times, Khreizim continued to violate the ceasefire agreement, and his actions enabled the promotion and execution of terror plots in the immediate timeframe against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip and civilians of the State of Israel.
The elimination of Khreizim constitutes a blow to the terror organization Hamas's attempts at rehabilitation and empowerment.
Additionally, in the strike on Khreizim, the terrorist Muhammad Al-Habash was also eliminated, head of a unit in the production headquarters of the terror organization Hamas. During the war, Al-Habash took part in the production of weaponry for the organization.
