Lapid to convene security cabinet Saturday evening
The officials are set to meet at 10:30 p.m. at the military’s headquarters in Tel Aviv.

The announcement of the meeting comes approximately 20 hours into Operation Breaking Dawn, which began Friday afternoon when the Israel Defense Forces launched strikes on terror targets in the Gaza Strip in response to what officials said was an ongoing “concrete” threat to target Israeli civilians and soldiers.
