WATCH: French government falls: Marine Le Pen demands elections

Marine Le Pen, leader of the right, in a speech following the overthrow of the French government:

"Mr. Macron must abandon his role as 'leader of the majority in parliament' and begin to fulfill his role as President of the Republic.

Under the current circumstances, there is only one solution: to go to elections and let the people decide.

If he decides to launch a political campaign, he must bear the consequences of his defeat.
