Trump's Choice to Lead the FBI with a Mission to Dismantle the 'Deep State'
In a bold announcement, President-elect Trump has selected Kashyap "Kash" Patel, a longtime ally and vocal critic of the so-called "deep state," to head the FBI. Patel’s new role will focus on tackling America’s rising crime rates, dismantling migrant gangs, and combating drug and human trafficking, Trump stated.
"Kash excelled during my first term, serving as Chief of Staff at the Department of Defense, Deputy Director of National Intelligence, and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council. He has also successfully tried over 60 jury cases," Trump shared on Truth Social.
"This FBI will combat the escalating crime epidemic in the U.S., dismantle migrant criminal organizations, and fight the abhorrent issues of human and drug trafficking at our borders. Kash will collaborate with our exceptional Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to restore the principles of Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity to the FBI."
