Australian Islamic scholar Wissam "Abu Ousayd" Haddad discussed the concept of Jihad in Islam in his February 2, 2024 class that was posted on upload to Al Madina Dawah Centre on Rumble.
He said that Jihad is “definitely” part of the Islamic religion, and that Muslims should “never shy away from this.” Abu Ousayd added that the “peak” of Jihad is physical fighting for the sake of Allah.
He said that the reward that Muslims who “sit idle” at home receive from Allah is not equal to that of the mujahideen who wage Jihad for the sake of Allah, because Allah prefers the mjuahideen over those who sit idle.
