Israel and the United States completed Intrinsic Defender (“Shomer Hiyuni”), a five-day joint naval exercise involving the Israeli Navy and the US 5th Fleet. The drill took place across multiple maritime zones, including the Mediterranean Sea, the Haifa and Nahariya areas, and the Red Sea arena.

The goal of the exercise was to reinforce years of close cooperation between the two navies, expand their ability to address maritime threats, and deepen shared operational learning.
