Question of the Day: Is Iran wasting time in talks with the U.S.?

As new IAEA reports suggest secret uranium enrichment, some believe Iran is only pretending to negotiate while racing toward a nuclear weapon to intimidate America and Israel.

For: Iran has a long record of deception, and while Trump stands firm, Tehran is clearly stalling to buy time for its nuclear ambitions.

Against: Iran may be leveraging its nuclear capabilities to gain a stronger bargaining position, but still ultimately seeks a deal to ease sanctions and avoid war.

My take on the situation is Trump is waiting for Israel to take out the Iranian nuclear plants-even the hidden ones. He’s given Israel the go ahead to do what they must do. DO IT NOW!

It’s impossible to know what is going on behind the scenes. It could be that Iran agrees at the last minute to stop nuclear enrichment once their back is completely against The wall.
