Are Israel and Turkey on the road to conflict?

Turkey has issued a stern warning against anyone harming the base. Even so, The IDF attacked it last night in a statement it will not allow Turkey to approach its borders.

Tonight, at around 3:00 AM, Air Force fighter jets attacked targets at the Syrian airports of Palmyra (Tadmur) and T4 east of the city of Homs.

Pay attention to the statements coming out of both Syria and Turkey:

The Syrian interim government has allocated a sovereign military base in Palmyra to the Turkish army. The base will be the size of the American Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

This despot Erdogan is looking to take over the entire region. He thinks he’s king Tut. The protests in Turkey will bring him down and hopefully he will suffer the same end like saddam hussein

Issue of Turkey’s NATO membership shouldn’t exist. It has no claim to it that’s legitimate.

It's concerning. Turkey under Erdogan has become a growing problem in many ways. Eventually, the issue of their Nato membership will have to be addressed.
