June 3 has been declared a day of mourning in Dnipro
At least 18 people are dead, and 100 others injured after Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities overnight on Tuesday.
The aerial onslaught involved more than 600 drones and dozens of missiles.
Infrastructure in Dnipro was hit hard, with reports of several people trapped under the rubble of an apartment building – including a three-year-old child, who did not survive.
Ukrainians have been on edge for days after Russia warned foreign diplomats to leave the country before a Goliath aerial assault.
One Kyiv resident, who survived the attack with her young daughter, described the scene as “some kind of apocalypse.”
