Official: Morocco to purchase Barak air defense systems
According to knowledgeable sources, the Barak MX system will be deployed in sensitive areas, covering both the kingdom’s borders and vital infrastructure.
In addition to the purchase of the system, the agreement includes comprehensive training for Moroccan army soldiers, to ensure full independence in the use and maintenance of this system.
The Moroccan army has officially announced the purchase of the Barak MX air defense and missile system, developed by Israel Aerospace Industries.
The value of the contract is $500 million, which confirms Morocco’s progress in the field of advanced technological defense and reflects the deepening of military cooperation between it and Israel.
