According to a witness, the two spoke about their army service when Arabs overhearing them began an argument which turned into a violent brawl
The soldiers on leave were sitting and eating in the Tel-Aviv port restaurant "Abulafia". They began to talk about their service in the IDF when a group of Wolt (well-known home delivery service) workers who were Arabs began an argument in which they said that Israel belongs to Arabs, and began to attack the soldiers as can be seen in the video.
It should be noted that Arab workers of the restaurant joined in throwing chairs at the two soldiers.
The Tel-Aviv port is a central and busy area of the city with many posh stores, bars and restaurants.
