In a recent statement from Iran, Mohsen Rezaei, a former commander of the IRGC, claimed that on the 11th day of the current war, “a large city in Israel was completely destroyed by missile bombardment and all its Zionist residents were eliminated.” 

He then offered an explanation for why no one has heard of this: “Israel imposes heavy censorship and prohibits publishing the name of the city, and we will not reveal it either, so that they cannot deny it.”

The absurdity is clear. No such destruction occurred. But this is not about truth—it is about weaponized lies.
