Will Israel help beleaguered Russian troops?
Here is an interesting report from the ALMA research and education center in Israel which reports on the northern areas of Israel.
In the Syrian Golan Heights, near the border with Israel, we know the layout of 12 Russian outposts. They seem to be in trouble.
If the rate at which the rebels take over the territory in southern Syria continues, the window of opportunity for their evacuation north towards Damascus is closing.
As things currently stand, the Russian force in southern Syria will not be able to connect by land, through Syria, to the northwestern region of Syria - the main base of the Russians in Hamimim.
