As part of a joint operation by the security forces acted last night under the intelligence guidance of the Shin Bet to counter terrorism in Judea and Samaria.
The forces arrested six wanted terrorists, searched the area, and interrogated additional wanted persons. During the operation, gunfire was heard in the area and suspects threw stones and an explosive charge against the IDF force, which used means to disperse demonstrations and shoot into the air.
During the operation in the village of Araba, the fighters located and confiscated two guns and military equipment. During the operation, suspects lit a fire in the area.
Two more wanted terrorists were arrested in the village of Beit Deko. In the village of Beit Omer, the forces arrested another wanted terrorist, and located and confiscated two air pistols, military equipment, and other weapons. Another wanted terrorist was arrested in the village of Yatta, and in the refugee camp Aqat Jaber, suspects shot at the forces, resulting in minor damage to a military vehicle.
The wanted terrorists who were arrested and the means of warfare that were confiscated were transferred to the security forces for further treatment, there were no reported casualties for our forces.
