Lebanese Sunni scholar Hassan Moraib declared that Lebanon must acknowledge it has lost the war and confront the reality of Iran’s deep influence within the country.
Speaking in an interview, Moraib described Iran as a “cancer” in Lebanon, claiming its presence has spread throughout the nation and is destroying its internal stability.
He further warned that Hezbollah is endangering Lebanese civilians by storing weapons in centers meant for displaced people, effectively turning them into military targets.
Moraib stressed that this practice puts innocent lives at risk and reflects a broader pattern in which Hezbollah prioritizes its military agenda over the safety of its own population. He added that Lebanon’s refusal to admit defeat is worsening the crisis and delaying necessary change.
