Last week there was an important development in Israel's energy market, when it became known that two giant foreign companies are interested in entering gas drilling in Israel.

The British energy companies BP and Abu Dhabi-based ADNOC have offered to purchase 50% of "New Med Energy" (formerly: Delek Drilling), which owns 45% of the Leviathan natural gas field.
