There are initial reports that the riots were planned in advance.

Planes from Israel on their way to evacuate Israeli sports fans who were attack but raging 'pro-Palestinian' mobs.

Maccabi Tel Aviv fans say that the Arabs who beat them continue to hang around the hotels where they fight.

They also say that the police are disrespectful towards the fans and are not really treating the incident as a pogrom.
