President Donald Trump published a fiery statement accusing major American media outlets of distorting reality in favor of Iran, claiming they would portray Tehran as victorious even in the event of a total military collapse.
In the post, Trump sarcastically described a scenario in which Iran’s navy is destroyed, its air force eliminated, and its military openly surrenders in Tehran — only for what he called the “Fake News Media” to still declare it a “masterful and brilliant victory” over the United States.
Trump specifically targeted The New York Times, CNN and The Wall Street Journal, while also attacking Democrats and accusing both the media and political establishment of having “totally lost their way.”
The comments come amid growing tensions surrounding the ongoing confrontation between Iran, Israel and the United States, and reflect Trump’s increasingly aggressive rhetoric toward both Tehran and the American press.
