WATCH Parshat Vayelech: Moshe prepares the Jewish people for life without him

In Parshat Vayelech, Moshe prepares the Jewish people for life without him. At 120 years old, Moshe announces that Yehoshua will lead the Jewish nation into the Land of Israel.

We learn about the mitzvah of Hakhel, when men, women, and children gather once every seven years on Sukkot to hear the Torah read aloud.

Moshe also writes the first Torah scroll and places it beside the Ark, so that it will serve as a witness forever.

Finally, Hashem commands Moshe to teach the people the Song of Ha’azinu, a timeless reminder for future generations.

If you are saying that Christ or similar will lead the Jewish nation, you are out of your mind. Jews have their own true God, from the Old Testament, and anything afterward is not important to us .

I disagree with the choice of using Hashem as God’s name. Our Lord God tells us in the Old Testament HIS name is YVWH FOR ALL TIMES.
