Kyiv claims that Moscow is trying to clear the waters so it would be free to lift its sunken warship, the Moskva. Ukraine claims that Russia is using submarines in the Black Sea to “terrorize civilian shipping”.

Meanwhile, Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Europe and global security’s fate is being decided in Ukraine. EC Chief Ursula von der Leyen said that Russia’s aggression in Ukraine is a direct threat to Europe’s security. The US is rallying members of the UN for a resolution that may reprimand Russia’s blocking of resolutions on Ukraine.
