Senior Hamas official Mahmoud a-Zahar: "Those who are happy about the assassination of Qassem Suleimani are the gays of the Arab nation who have normalized their relations with Israel."

NEWSRAEL: It must be noted that Hamas, and the people of Gaza are Sunni, while Iran is Shia - that sect of Islam which is the eternal enemy of the Sunni. Not only is Hamas betraying the Sunni nation by taking Iranian cash, but is now attacking much of the Sunni world, and that part that is rich and prosperous. Hamas, no matter how good they are in portraying themselves in the media, especially the Western media - is losing many points in the public opinion of the Sunni world.

Senior Hamas figure Mahmoud a-Zahar is doing it again and this time in a big way!

There is no shortage of amusing past remarks of his that have done Hamas quite a bit of damage, but this time he managed to outdo himself and upset every second Sony on social media.

In recent days, a-Zahar, on behalf of Hamas, has led the ceremonies in Gaza to mark the two-year anniversary of the assassination of Qassem Suleimani, commander of the Al-Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

As part of these ceremonies he was given the podium and he "utilized" it well! In one of the ceremonies, a-Zahar used the word "Shawad", a derogatory word in the Arabic language for gays, to describe those who were happy about Qassem's assassination by the Americans. According to him, these are "gays of the Arab nation who are the Arab Zionists who normalized relations with Israel."

In another anniversary ceremony in Gaza, a-Zahar referred to the Saudis and Gulf states as "stupid Arabs whose money was stolen by Donald Trump."

As the saying goes, a-Zahar is doing a good service to Israel in the last day on the net. It is not easy to be a supporter of Hamas these days. 

Hamas sometimes forgets that it is not always possible to hold the stick at both ends. Sometimes the contradiction is too great.
