Sources in Lebanon report that Wafik Safa, "Hezbollah's Minister of Defense" who serves as head of the central internal security apparatus and commander of the foreign relations unit, has established an "opposition" within the organization to Secretary-General Naim Qassem and is working together with senior field commanders against Qassem's decisions and views.

Naim Qassem is indeed an appointment of "no choice" by the Iranians, but it is important to remember that this terrorist organization that was the "diamond" of the Iranians is not managing to recover as the Iranians want it to.
