Indications of a decline in Russian-Israeli coordination in Syria
The Nziv Report 27.05.2022
The Syrian Jusur Center for Research has previously talked about indications of a decline in coordination between Russia and Israel in Syria, especially with the rise of Israeli airstrikes on Assad regime sites.
The center said that last February Israel carried out four military attacks in Syria against sites belonging to Iran, Hezbollah and the regime, which is a relatively high monthly rate of attacks on targets since 2013.
The sites attacked were weapons depots, missile heads and air defense systems belonging to Iran, which it often intended to transfer to Lebanon, and it mostly uses central and northern Syria for strategic weapons storage, in addition to Hezbollah's advanced observation points.
