BREAKING: IDF: The Deputy Commander of the Nukhba Platoon was eliminated

Joint statement this evening from the IDF Spokesperson and the Shin Bet Spokesperson: Threat removed: The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Walid Al-Haniya - Deputy Commander of the Nukhba Platoon who led a terrorist cell raid into the territory of the State of Israel on October 7th

The IDF and Shin Bet attacked and eliminated the terrorist Walid Al-Haniya, deputy commander of the Nukhba platoon in the military wing of the Hamas terrorist organization, the day before yesterday (Thursday).

Recently, Al-Haniya attempted to recruit new terrorists to the ranks of the terrorist organization and also led theoretical training for the Nukhba platoon under his command.

Al-Haniya commanded a raid by a terrorist cell into the territory of the State of Israel on October 7th and even personally raided Israeli territory. In this context, he was involved in directing and transmitting instructions to the terrorist cell when they kidnapped Israeli civilians into the Gaza Strip.
