Germany blocks the sale of advanced Eurofighter jets to Turkey

NEWSRAEL: It seems as though the German government is the only European state fighting the advance of Islam in the world!

The blockade was apparently carried out due to Turkey's oil exploration and general aggression in the eastern Mediterranean.

Germany used its veto to stop the sale of Eurofighter Typhoon jets to Turkey amid tensions over Ankara's natural gas exploration operations in the eastern Mediterranean.

Eurofighter CEO Giancarlo Mezzanato confirmed Turkey's interest in purchasing the plane, but revealed that Germany had blocked the sale, during a press conference at the Farnborough International Air Show in Great Britain on July 28.
