Al Qaeda was created by a Muslim Brotherhood splinter group. Osama bin Laden was a Brotherhood member and originally went to Pakistan as part of the ‘Ikhwan’ Brotherhood. 

Hamas is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. So are many other Islamic terror groups.

After 9/11, there was a wave of raids on Brotherhood operations in the United States and those raids produced most of what we know about its operations in American.
