WATCH: Lebanese MP: Hezbollah’s weapons were the cause of the war
In an April 29, 2025 appearance on Al-Jadeed TV (Lebanon), Lebanese MP Ghassan Hasbani discussed Hezbollah’s weapons, stating that they were the impetus for large-scale attacks by a major military power in the region—referring to Israel.
Hasbani asserted that the presence of Hezbollah’s weapons justifies Israel’s repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon. He also commented on the situation in Gaza, stating that Hamas is the reason Palestinians are currently facing such conditions.
