As Israeli forces search for the Palestinian who opened fire on motorists on a road near Qalqilya, security personnel told The Press Service of Israel that the car used by the terrorist was discovered and is booby-trapped with explosives not far from the scene.

Two people were injured in the attack.

One victim, a woman in her 20s, is being treated for life-threatening injuries, the Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikvah said.

A second patient, a man in his 40s, is in moderate condition at the Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba.
