Publication from Elaph, A newspaper close to the Saudi king, reports:
Syrian President Assad is faced with a choice: either continue the alliance with the "axis of resistance" and lose power, or interact and improve relations with Arab countries led by Saudi Arabia and remain at the head of the country, citing a source in the Syrian security service.
It was noted that the brother of Syrian President Maher Assad does not want to give up his support for Iran and therefore their relationship "has reached the level of threats and intimidation."
At the same time, it is reported that Israel recently threatened Bashar al-Assad and demanded that he take "practical steps against the axis of resistance, and especially Hezbollah."
The publication states that the Syrian army forced Hezbollah members to evacuate Vanguard and Khomeini bases in Syria at the request of Israel, and then bombed them.
These bases contained warehouses of weapons and equipment that were to be transferred to Lebanon for use against our country.
The disagreement between the Assad brothers will need to be resolved - one way or another.
