A group calling itself “Saraya Ansar al-Sunna” has released a recorded statement threatening suicide bombings and car attacks targeting the Alawite and Christian communities.

In the video, the organization vowed to strike “in the heart of the infidels’ strongholds” and warned residents of mixed areas to evacuate. Security forces have increased alert levels in several provinces following the threat.
