Since Oct. 7, a surge of Israeli veterans have been thrust into a second war at home—battling PTSD, emotional numbness, stigma, and slow bureaucracy—as they fight for the chance to reclaim their lives.

Across Israel, soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are fighting for recognition, access to rehabilitation frameworks, and the support they desperately need.

Some have struggled in silence.

Some have tragically paid with their lives.
