Unidentified warplanes launched airstrikes on a site in the countryside of al-Suwayda district near the Syrian-Jordanian border.
Local sources said that fighter jets attacked a farm near the Syria-Jordan border, south of the provincial city of al-Suwayda, at 3:00 am last night.
These attacks led to a heavy loss of agricultural equipment, but there were no reports of casualties, according to the "Suwayda 24" network.
The sources confirmed that fighter jets flew over the area before the airstrikes, indicating that the bombing was most likely carried out by the Jordanian Air Force, as the fighter jets were in Jordanian airspace at the time of the strikes.
The sources stated that the bombing targeted a farm that contained repair hangars containing three mechanical harvesters and an agricultural tractor, which led to the destruction of this equipment, and also resulted in the death of several animals.
The sources also stated that all the workers at the farm were saved, because they were in the building next to the hangar, which was not bombed.
The owner of the farm that was attacked, Mansur Hassan al-Safdi, said that his farm is a place where there is nothing but agricultural work, sheds for repairing tractors and harvesting machines and sheds for raising poultry and sheep.
Many residents of the area have been working at the farm for several years, and all of them testify that "the place is free of any suspicion, or any illegal activities that require an attack," Safdi added.
