35 haredi men become Israel Police officers
The all-segregated, three-month training course for the religious sector is the sixth one held this year.

A group of 35 ultra-Orthodox officers have completed a three-month training course to become certified members of the Israel Police.
The group of all-male former yeshivah students enlisted at a time of mounting public ire over the lack of haredi conscription in the military, which has increased in the wake of the 15-month-old war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
The new officers will take up positions throughout the force and in various fields, including technology, the police said on Monday.
