What does a supportive USA administration do in order to show their support of Israel? Do they always agree with Israel? Can they also criticize Israel occasionally? Do they always provide Israel with the weaponry that Israel claims are vital needs?
The answers are usually not crystal clear. Sometimes even a friend must criticize a friend – but in goodwill. It is legitimate and absolutely expected that there will be disagreements from time to time between Israel and America concerning their “unique friendship.” But there is a vast difference between an occasional tussle on a minor issue and one side supporting the enemy of Israel when Israel is under an existential threat.
Let it be said in a perfectly clear way. Kamala Harris cares much more about the Arab vote in Michigan that may determine her election than she cares about the lives of Israelis. Everybody with half a conscience knows that Hamas and Hezbollah are full-blown terrorist organizations that are heavily backed by Iran and Qatar. Yet, no statement of clear support of Israel will ever be said by Kamala Harris without mentioning the lie of “innocent civilians” that Israel is accused of killing.
It doesn’t matter that Israel’s terrorist to civilian kill ratio is better than any other country’s record in the history of urban warfare. It doesn’t matter that hundreds of thousands of Israelis lives have been displaced by the Hamas and Hezbollah attacks. Are they not “innocent civilians” that matter to Kamala Harris?
