Egyptian security services managed to raid an apartment where they found a secret room used as a safe to hide money, where they found the sum of 8 million and four hundred thousand dollars, as well as documents belonging to economic organizations owned by the Muslim Brotherhood.
The information also indicated that the brothers activist, Yahya Mahran Othman Kamal al-Din, played a prominent role in this program, as one of the main arms of the imprisoned brotherʻs leader Safwan Tabet.
Tabet, allowed Mahran to exploit his companies in transferring and hiding the organization’s funds and investing his returns in favor of his terrorist activities in an attempt to circumvent the guarding mechanisms activated against the group’s economic entities.
