A delegation from the Hamas terror organization met with Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, in Doha amid ongoing regional tensions and continued negotiations between Tehran and Washington.
According to Palestinian channels, Hamas representative Darwish briefed Larijani on what he described as the “humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip,” accusing Israel of violating ceasefire terms while claiming the organization remains committed to implementing the agreement and preventing a return to full-scale war.
Darwish reiterated Hamas’ solidarity with Iran and expressed rejection of any aggression against Iranian territory, warning that attacks on the Islamic Republic or other regional states would undermine regional stability and security.
Larijani, for his part, reportedly reviewed recent developments inside Iran and the ongoing negotiations with the US. He reaffirmed what was described as Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and confirmed the Islamic Republic’s continued backing of Hamas’ struggle across various arenas and international forums.
