The Egyptian army has succeeded in eliminating 10 extremely dangerous terrorists in northern Sinai, an Egyptian army spokesman said.

The army announced that it surrounded a post where extremely dangerous terrorist elements were staying, and an exchange of fire took place, which eventually led to the elimination of 10 terrorist elements, who were found in possession of grenades and ammunition.

The Egyptian army said 23 terrorists had been killed in recent days after an attack on a pumping station in western Sinai was thwarted.
