WATCH: Israel–Lebanon ceasefire extended three weeks

U.S. hosts high-level talks and targets Hezbollah's role

President Trump announced that the Israel–Lebanon ceasefire will be extended by three weeks following a high-level meeting in Washington.

The meeting included Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa, and senior Israeli and Lebanese representatives.

Trump said: "The meeting went very well! The United States will work with Lebanon to help it defend itself against Hezbollah.
