The IDF announced that forces from Division 252 have completed their mission in the northern Gaza Strip after months of combat activity that began at the start of Operation Roaring Lion.
According to the IDF, the troops operated against Hamas terror infrastructure above and below ground, destroying weapons depots, observation posts, combat compounds and tunnel routes.
A major operation was recently completed in the Beit Hanoun area, where IDF forces cleared terror infrastructure used by Hamas terrorists.
The IDF said the division’s fire brigade eliminated more than 35 terrorists, including terrorists who took part in the October 7 massacre and continued to pose a threat to Israeli forces in Gaza. Division engineering forces also destroyed around 7 kilometers of underground tunnel routes in the northern Gaza Strip.
