Three Israeli-Arabs Arrested on Illegal Weapons Charges
The Israel Police reported that weapons and means of warfare were seized in the northern Israeli Arab town of Umm al-Fahm and three suspects who possessed were arrested after they tried to escape.

The police say the weapons seized were suspected to be intended for criminal purposes – as opposed to terrorism. They included a Glock type pistol with a full cartridge, full M16 cartridges, ammunition and a large amount of cash in a building in the city.
The operation came as part of Israel’s continuing efforts to stamp out violent crime and criminal gangs in the country’s Arab communities.
