You have to get used to the term King Charles. But what is no less interesting are the new king's close ties with the Arab world and with an emphasis on the Gulf countries.
When he was regent, Charles was known for his great fondness for getting close to leaders in the Gulf and during the last decade he met nearly 100 times with princes and sheikhs from the Gulf.
What is less exciting for him are publications, including in recent weeks that he received "donations" from leaders in the Gulf and businessmen from there. Among other things, in 2013 he received a considerable donation from the Bin Laden family.
Charles will of course not be investigated but receiving sums in cash does not correspond to the standard financial conduct in Britain.
