Israeli attacks caused little damage, most targets were decoys; Iran has not yet used its more powerful weapons

Tehran University professor Mohammad Marandi told American podcasters on June 15 and 16, 2025, that the damage from Israeli attacks is significantly less than reported by Western media. 

He claimed that the Israeli warheads used were much smaller than those deployed by Iran, and that many of the Iranian jets, missiles, and radar systems reportedly destroyed were in fact decoys placed to mislead Israel into wasting its missiles without inflicting real damage.
