Protests entered a decisive phase on the fifth day with the confirmed killing of at least three demonstrators: Dariush Ansari Bakhtiarvand in Fooladshahr, Amir-Hessam Khodayarifard in Kuhdasht, and Shayan Asadollahi in Azna.

Reports also emerged of at least four other deaths in clashes elsewhere, marking a sharp escalation in the state’s crackdown.

According to the reports, protesters set fire to vehicles belonging to the police and the Basij. Video footage from the scene includes chants of “Death to Ali Khamenei,” underscoring the increasingly direct challenge to the regime’s leadership.
