WATCH: When Jordan & Britain starved and ethnically cleansed Jews

After the Jordanian Arab Legion (led by Brit officers) starved the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City into surrender in ‘48, all Jews - including a 100-year-old man who hadn’t left the City in 90 years - were ethnically cleansed.

Then, Arabs put all Jewish western Jerusalem under siege & tried to employ the same starvation tactic that won them the Old City.
